The 2007 St.Maarten Heineken Regatta proved to be yet another ideal regatta with competitive racing, high winds and an added day of racing.

It is my pleasure to invite you to the 28^th edition of this world know event, and become one of the many sailors to grace our shores. Over 40 different countries are represented at this event, and no where can this be seen better than at the evening festivities where people of all nationalities mingle together sharing their stories of the day and enjoying good food, and good music. I am honored to be the Sint Maarten Yacht Club Commodore once again and I encourage you to visit our regatta headquarters located at the Yacht Club in Simpson Bay, right next to the bridge. This event is one that our members are proud to be a part of and hope that you come back to visit our shores on other occasions as well.
