1. What is the schedule of events
The St. Maarten Heineken Regatta takes place from March 5th – 8th, 2026. During these 4 days you can enjoy world class racing and dance the night away with tunes brought to you by international artists! Racing starts not before 9.35am and the Regatta Village at Port de Plaisance opens at 3pm. For a more elaborate schedule click here.
2. What are the bridge openings during the Regatta?
We got 2 special bridge openings for participants of the Regatta only: a 9am outbound in case you ran late for the 8.30am bridge and a 2pm inbound in case your excellent racing skills give you a finish time ahead of everyone else.
3. I would love to race, but don’t own a boat and haven’t found one to race on yet, any suggestions?
Have a look at our crew board online, or hang out at the Regatta Village at Registration, or the Sint Maarten Yacht Club to snatch up those last minute spot on boats.
How about all the fun stuff? What can we expect?
1. Watching from ashore
Not everyone gets to go racing, but still wants to experience those “Serious Fun!” vibes ashore. For those of you we have special “Beach Stadium” race days! On Friday, you can peep sail boats from every beach around the island during the Around the Island Race. On Saturday, you can catch the Diam 24 racing right in front of the iconic beach clubs of Grand Case. On Sunday, head over to Mullet Bay to see the race boats round a mark right in front of the beach!
2. ONSHORE ENTERTAINMENT
The Regatta Village opens each day at 3pm and hosts a daily prize giving at 6pm followed by live music until midnight. For the full schedule and ticket sales click here, or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
